Sunday, June 21st, 2026: Historic Presentation - The Vanished Historic Communities of Halton Hills

Come and listen to Scott Brooks, under the beautiful setting of Prospect Park, as he gives an informative presentation on the vanished communities that once were within the municipality we know today as Halton Hills. Time & Place: 7 P.M. - Rotary Bandshell at Prospect Park (near back of park). All welcome to attend, admission by donation. Rain Date: Sunday, June 28th.

Thursday, July 2nd, 2026: Vintage Acton History Display at Acton Outdoor Market

Come out to the Acton Outdoor Market to check out the latest Vintage Acton history display, to purchase merchandise, and to speak with Scott Brooks about local history. Time & Place: 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. - Salvation Army Church parking lot, 114 Mill Street East.

Saturday, July 18th, 2026: Acton SNAP Summer Walk & Talk

Discover Acton’s rich history and learn about the environmental work underway to make Fairy Lake cleaner, greener and more resilient as part of the CVC's Acton Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (Acton SNAP). Learn about the history of Acton and how Fairy Lake came to be. Hosted in collaboration with Scott Brooks of Vintage Acton. Time & Place: 1 P.M. to 3 P.M., with tour starting at outside Robert Little Public School. For more details and to register for this free event, visit here.

Sunday, August 16th, 2026: Historic Walking Tour - Fairview Cemetery

Learn about the many local historic figures that are buried at Fairview Cemetery as Scott Brooks shares the stories of the lives they lived. This is the fourth tour of the ever-popular cemetery tour and features a new list of historic figures each time! Time & Place: Starts at 2 P.M. - Gates of Fairview Cemetery off Cobblehill Road. All welcome to attend, admission by donation. Rain Date: Sunday, August 23rd.
